President Mrs Knight welcomed members and guests to the meeting at Keith Leonard House. Jerusalem was sung and was followed by the business part of the meeting. Mrs Long welcomed Alan Maskell from the Cambridge Blue Cross. Alan gave an interesting illustrated talk on the work of the Blue Cross going back more than one hundred years. Members were invited to ask questions at the end of his talk. Mrs Bridgeman thanked him on behalf of the members and asked him to judge the exhibition for a photo of a cat. The winner was P O` Donnell. Refreshments were served and Mrs Knight organised the raffle.The speaker at the meeting in August will be Jenni Johns who will talk about the work of the doorstep library.
