STUDENTS and staff at Soham Village College have raised 1,864 for the Disaster Emergencies Committee to help the people of earthquake-stricken Haiti. The money was raised by students at an emergency non-uniform day and at other events the students organised for themselves.
Principal Dr Carin Taylor said: "Our students have always responded energetically to need. Having supported local and national causes for some years, they were keen to respond to a global concern."
