PUPILS from the Weatheralls School in Soham lined up alongside pop superstars Rihanna and Lady Gaga this week as their debut song played live on radio.

As part of their PSHE lessons at school, Year 5 pupils were tasked with getting into groups and composing a short song all about bullying, with the winner getting the chance to sing their entry live on Star Radio.

Callum, Ellie, Alysha and Autumn’s song was the stand out entry among the pupils and, on Thursday, they were invited into the radio station in Cambridge to debut their effort.

Callum said: “We all had a lot of fun singing our song and then listening to it back afterwards.”
