SOHAM murderer Ian Huntley, is back behind bars this morning (Monday) after receiving hospital treatment for knife wounds to the neck.
The 36-year-old was reportedly attacked by a fellow inmate at the category A Frankland Prison in County Durham on Sunday, receiving treatment at hospital for the wound overnight before returned to prison on Monday morning.
Huntley is serving life for the murder of 10-year-olds Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman in 2002.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Justice said: "A prisoner at HMP Frankland was assaulted by another prisoner at about 3.25pm on Sunday 21 March.
"The prisoner was taken to outside hospital for treatment. His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
