CCTV operators alerted police after seeing drink-driver Emanuel Valente leaving a pub car park. Valente was stopped in West Drive Gardens in Soham on March 7 and gave a breath test reading almost double the legal limit; it was 63 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath, when the legal limit is 35 mcgs.

Valente, 31, of West Drive Gardens, Soham, was banned from driving for 16 months and fined £230 with £85 costs and a £15 surcharge.
