A public exhibition will be held for residents to see design proposals of the Soham Eastern Gateway development.
The consultation will give residents the chance to review the initial ideas, leave feedback and talk to members of the project team that will be on hand to answer any questions.
The designs have been informed by suggestions and feedback from the local community and other local stakeholders through the consultation
Feedback will inform the evolving designs and will go on to shape an advanced version of the plans at the second public exhibition this
It will take place on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 July from 4pm to 8pm at The Pavilion, in Fountain Lane and Saturday July 21 from 11am to 3pm at St Andrew’s Church.
The Eastern Gateway area of Soham is an area of agricultural and allotment land which lies between the town and the A142 bypass.
The area is identified in the Soham Vision Masterplan and Local Plan 2015 as an area of mixed use development.
It is hoped that the development of the area will provide a new east/west link, which will help support the vitality of the town centre.
