Soham car fire was arson - firefighters take around an hour to tackle blaze

A car fire in Soham last night (Wednesday) has been blamed as arson.

Firefighters from Soham were called to the blaze in Cornmills Road at around 7.04pm.

The crew arrived to find the vehicle on fire and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 8pm.

The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
