Businessman Jeremy Reader looks set to raise nearly £2,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society after completing the Great North Run on Sunday.
Mr Reader, pictured with his son Oakley-Jeorge after the race, chose the charity in memory of his in-laws Don and June Ross who both died as a result of the disease.
Mr Reader who runs JK Memorials finished 5,261 out of 57,000 runners clocking up a time of one hour 48 minutes and two seconds. He can still be sponsored via justgiving.com/Jeremy-Reader
