ON Saturday, a social evening was organised by Pat and Gerald Johnson in the clubhouse. Members took part in a quiz on a wide variety of subjects. Gerald was quiz master assisted by Pat checking the answers and keeping the score. Halfway through the evening, a stop was made for a fish and chip supper. The quiz continued resulting in a win for Alec Gibbs, Colin and Jenny Aspland and Sue Wingham. All received a prize. Terry Galley thanked Pat and Gerald for organising the evening and reminded members to enter their names on the lists if they wish to play in the afternoon league or the Tom Iscaason Trophy.
