ON Saturday, the second of the three bowls evenings organised by Ken Chapman took place. Ken welcomed everyone before 16 bowlers took part in the games of triples and pairs. Three games of six ends were played in a round-robin format. The winner of the two games played was Pat Bayes. Everyone enjoyed a delicious supper provided by Ken and Joan. Roger Bayes thanked them on behalf of everyone. The third and final evening will be on August 12, starting at 6.15pm. Colourful attire only no white or greys.
