THE Pymoor show takes place on Saturday and this year's event promises to be a summer day out for all the family.

There will be the Abra John's Magic Show and world-famous flea circus to entertain the children. Abra John will be looking for lots of helpers during the course of the day to make the magic work.

While the children are being entertained, parents can make their way to the main marquee for a relaxing Indian head massage, cookery demonstrations by Pampered Chef, and there will be stalls, including hand-made Christmas cards and presents, and strawberries and cream and a chocolate fountain.

Other attractions include air rifle shooting, clay pigeon shooting, or, for the less energetic, machinery trade stands, vintage vehicles and visitors can sample the delights of Fenland Brewery, which are based in Little Downham.

No need to bring a picnic as there will be a complete range of hot and cold catering including fish and chips, hog roast, barbecue and traditional tea, sandwiches and cakes in the clubhouse.

Alongside the clubhouse Eel Pie will be playing all day, and there will be a full afternoon's action-packed entertainment in the arena, including motorbike and car stunt riders jumping and climbing over cars and other various obstacles.

Why not take up the challenge of children versus ferrets with Ferretworld who will also be looking for helpers when it comes to handling and racing the ferrets?

For owners of man's best friend, compare the behavior of your dog with dogs trained by Peter Johnson. Watch the fun as the dogs participate in an agility demonstration, after which there will be the opportunity for visitors and their dogs to "have a go" over the agility course.

Representatives from the Whitemoor Prison Dog Section, will be showing how their dogs are trained in assisting prison security.

Feel the earth move as the Harley Davidsons roar into the main ring, where they will welcome visitors to come and talk and see the bikes close up.

Again by popular request, the Granta Harriers will be in the main ring waiting for the children to come and join them.

For the fans of vintage vehicles, tractors, cars and motorbikes, there will be the vintage parade with an introduction to the entries from Trevor Brown.

The show takes place at the recreation ground in Pymoor, from 10.30am onwards.
