FORDHAM Primary Schl pupils headed fr Snail Wd t plant trees in the secnd year f their cnservatin prject n wdland wned by drug testing and research facility HFL.

The yungsters planted alder, ash and hawthrn t add t the 300 trees they planted in Snail Wd last year after grwing them frm seed.

Rse Millar, assistant head at the schl, said: "It has prvided us with sme fantastic pprtunities t teach abut cnservatin and maintaining wdland.

"HFL have planted a rwan tree in the schl grunds as a symbl f ur relatinship."

HFL chief executive, Prfessr David Hall, recently vted Britain's Mst Energetic Bss, discvered his cmpany wned Snail Wd mre than a year ag and has been instrumental in getting staff and schl children invlved its ­cnservatin.
