Little Thetford Primary School pupils raised more than £1,000 for the British Heart Foundation by taking part in a sponsored Skipathon.
One hundred and six pupils were separated into small groups and each had to skip continuously for 45 minutes, with each child working to a cycle of skipping for one minute and then resting for six.
Headteacher Tony Breese said: "The school is constantly developing and promoting physical education and this was a great way of doing that, with the pupils practising in their lunch breaks and getting plenty of exercise.
"The children also benefited from the experience of team-work and it was great to see them cheering each other on and helping their friends get through."
The total amount raised from the Skipathon was £1,008.
