THREE sixth formers from the King's School Ely have won the Cambridge round of the annual Youth Speaks public speaking competition organised by the Rotary Club.
The King's trio chose to speak about 'honesty is the best policy'. Their chairman was Leo Ewbank, the topic was proposed by Evie Deavall and speaker was Alex Calder who also won the prize as the best speaker of the competition.
The Perse School and Cambridge Centre for Sixth Form Studies each entered a team and the Perse Girls' entered two teams.
The King's team will go forward to the district round.
