TWO teenagers, whose lives have been touched by cancer, took part in the Great North Run on Sunday determined to raise £1,000 for research into the disease.

Cancer claimed the life of Emily's stepfather, Richard Hayward, and Charles'
family have also been hit
by the disease.
Both pupils in the sixth form at Ely's King's School, the pair have been training on the roads around the city, Little Downham and Witchford for the event.
