Singers raised almost £300 for the NSPCC by holding an impromptu concert in Ely’s railway station.
Members of the Isle Singers, accompanied by the mayor of Ely, Councillor Lis Every, joined travellers on the platforms last Friday and put on a concert of popular Christmas songs.
Donations taken on the day by members of the NSPCC totalled £279.53.
