THE final phase of this year's Pymoor Show was completed when cheques were presented to a number of charities.
Dr Anthony Russell, the Bishop of Ely, presented £1,500 to the East Anglians Children's Hospice. The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution received £1,000 and Pymoor Cricket and Social Club benefited from £500.
Show chairman Steve Knowles said: "It was so good to see the end product of all the hard work, especially as the show nearly didn't happen this year due to flooding.
