Ely supermarket staff organised a special birthday present for their oldest customer recently when Joe Morton clocked up a century.
Joe was invited to Waitrose, where he was presented with a bottle of whisky and a card to mark his 100th birthday. Joe, a retired farmer who lives just outside the city, has been visiting the store every week since it opened 15 years ago. Pictured during the presentation from left are branch manager, Sarah Jackson, Joe and his wife, Betty, and Elaine Whitworth.
