MEMBERS of the Ely Tapestry Weaving Group are exhibiting their work in the

Vernon Cross Room of the Ely Museum until Sunday (September 30). The exhibition is open every day from 10am to 5pm (Sunday from 1pm) and includes work ranging from miniature tapestries to large wall hangings. Visitors will also see demonstrations showing how tapestries are woven. Admission is free.

The group was established in 2005 and brings together more than a dozen experienced weavers from across Cambridgeshire. It meets fortnightly in Ely for working sessions to share ideas and to explore techniques and materials.
