POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision near Barway involving two cars and a motorcycle that failed to stop.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision near Barway involving two cars and a motorcycle that failed to stop.

The crash happened at about 9pm on a stretch of the A142 on Wednesday (September 1) and involved a Vauxhall Astra and a Ford Fiesta.

A woman travelling in the Fiesta suffered serious but not life threatening injuries while a man with her suffered minor injuries.

A man who was driving the Astra also suffered minor injuries. All three were treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

The motorcycle rider did not stop and police are appealing for him to get in touch.

Traffic officer PC Paul Symonds said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw this collision take place and particularly the motorcyclist who did not stop.

“I would also urge anyone who saw the vehicles involved just prior to the crash or the motorcycle just after to contact me.”
