ELY campaigner Edward Mullenger had his sentence changed by magistrates this week.
In May he was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid community work, pay £250 costs and was subjected to a two-year restraining order after he admitted harassing his former partner.
But on Thursday, the magistrates agreed to replace the community work order with a six-month supervision order.
Mullenger, 50, of New Barns Avenue, was given an immediate appointment with his probation officer.
