A group of Guides from Littleport visited the Palace of Westminster and met their MP, Malcolm Moss.
The Guides had previously welcomed Christine Weeds, a parliamentary youth officer, to their meeting and she explained the workings of the Government and the differences between the Houses of Commons and Lords.
The Guides were challenged to make a new law or amend a current law and debate their proposals.
During half-term, the Guides visited Westminster and were treated to a tour, which started from the Sovereign's entrance and the Queen's Robing Room through the Houses of Lords and Commons.
Three Guides were enrolled in the oldest part of the Palace, on the spot where Guy Fawkes was tried for treason.
After the tour, the Guides met Mr Moss, pictured with the group.
