THE group held its annual dance on March 24 at the village hall when they were joined by friends from the Cambridge Scottish group and others from North Norfolk, Norwich, King's Lynn, Beccles and Bedford. Around 60 dancers enjoyed a full evening of jigs, reels and strathspeys, to recorded music by the best of Scottish Dance Bands. Banners and flags were provided by Grace Turnbull, who, with other volunteers, decorated the hall during the afternoon.

A special thank you must go to John Mullett, member of Huntingdon Caledonian Society, who with his wife Janette, came from Willingham to set up a sound system. Everyone appreciated the difference it made to the recorded music.

The evening was led by MC Morag Hamilton; tutor to the host group, who did a magnificent job in keeping everyone on their toes, all agreed it was a huge success.
