Children from the sister schools of Anthony Curton Primary, Walpole St Peter, and Tilney All saints Primary, experienced a taste of Indian culture as part of a day visit to Ely Cathedral.
Students got to try on Indian clothes, including dressing each other in a Sari, and they were taught traditional Bollywood and Bhangra dance.
They also learnt how to address each other in Indian.
After lunch, there was a performance given by children from each of the schools about the 12 Apostles.
Participating from Tilney was Charlie Davis, and Harrison Towell from Anthony Curton. Then, Bishop David Thomson and Canon Jessica Martin led all the schools in singing a song in Urdu.
Prayers were offered, that had been written by children, and put on a Prayer Tree, before Bishop David gave everyone a blessing.
Jane Murray, of the schools, said: “We always enjoy our day out at Ely Cathedral, and this year really helped our children to learn about cultural diversity and citizenship through dance.”
