FATHER Christmas will be joining the drive to get fit during a Fun, Fit and Food Fair in Ely next Saturday, November 18.

Attractions include free pedometers, face painting and the opportunity to meet Santa.

There will also be competitions to guess the number of sweets in a jar, a festive raffle, fat free cake stall and the opportunity to try some nutritious smoothies - many of which will have a festive flare.

For anyone worried about piling on the pounds this Christmas there will also be plenty of advice on how to keep fit and healthy in a fun way.

The event is being organised by Healthy Living East Cambridgeshire in the Elysian Hall at Ely's Maltings between 11am and 4pm.
