Rowing club receives mayor's cheque

THE Isle of Ely Rowing Club received a £700 cheque from the mayor s Charity fund at a Christmas dinner held on Saturday. The event was held at the Almonry, and Cllr John Ison handed presented a cheque, which will be used to help provide much-needed toilet

THE Isle of Ely Rowing Club received a £700 cheque from the mayor's Charity fund at a Christmas dinner held on Saturday.

The event was held at the Almonry, and Cllr John Ison handed presented a cheque, which will be used to help provide much-needed toilet facilities at the club's site on the Great Ouse between Ely and Queen Adelaide.
