The Rotary Club of Ely celebrated its 75th anniversary president’s night with a gala dinner in Witchford Village Hall.
Club president Eric Grant managed the proceedings, with help from Rotarian Mike Copping and his team.
Mike Axford hosted the evening and Bill Redmayne, Rotary district governor, gave a speech where he related on events that have taken place in Rotary over the past 75 years, and to renew the drive to help the afflicted worldwide.
This was followed by a presentation from Rotary International to the Rotary Club of Ely of a framed plaque on the club’s 75th birthday.
The entertainment for the evening was provided by The Isle Singers.
