Robert Barnes celebrated reaching his £100,000 milestone with a party for volunteers and supports alike in Soham.
Robert launched the Lisa Barnes Memorial Fund in 2010 in memory of his wife and vowed to raise £100,000 for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity – where she spent her last few weeks.
Just four years on, Robert, of West Fen Road, in Ely, was able to celebrate reaching his target with a party at The Brook.
Despite achieving his goal, Robert is planning to keep fundraising for the hospice charity – but says he will be cutting back on the number of events he attends.
