ROBERT Arkenstall School in Haddenham triumphed at the Ely Family Cross Country Festival on April 17. Pupils won the competition, finishing first in seven out of their eight races. After training in-school, and an annual cross country competition the night before in St Neots, the older pupils could have been forgiven for being a little exhausted but they came home victorious with five trophies, in years three, four and five, and the overall winner's cup.
The Ely Family Cross Country Festival is run by the Witchford Sports Partnership.
