With the pantomime season in full swing around the country, Littleport village hall was the venue last weekend for the Littleport Players superbly entertaining presentation of J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan.
The company gave performances as scintillating and professional in the acting, singing, dancing, musical, choreographic, directing, producing and costume departments, as any West End big budget production.
It was a team effort of the highest calibre making it almost impossible to single out any individual contribution.
The production team all deserve equal mention. Extra special mention must be for the ‘Peter Pan Band’ Keyboard, Chris Nunn, Drums, Jonathan Theobald, Bass, Peter Theobald.
The cast list, while they may be amateur, they all fulfilled their roles as well as any pro, and equally, all deserve their names to be given the publicity they richly deserve!

“I have never played a baddie before,” said George Harrison, aka Captain Hook, who could have passed for Johnny Depp.
“It was one of my favourite characters I’ve played so far. Being booed for me was a new experience, but in fact I loved it.
“Our next project is The Madness Musical ‘Our House’ in July.”
Anyone who missed this fun panto will be able to catch it again in the New Year. The Littleport Players are due to perform a shortened version at the Ex-Servicemen’s Club on Ponts Hill, Sunday January 7.
