THE owners of a buggy stolen on Tuesday afternoon in Ely have appealed for its return.

Vanessa Gibbs was visiting her parents' shop, Gibbs Soft Furnishings, in St Mary's Street, when the buggy was stolen from outside.

She and her partner are sentimentally attached to the buggy, which both of their children have used.

"We just can't afford to go out and get another one - if whoever has stolen it could just return it to where they took it from."

The three-wheel buggy is black and silver with a blue buggy board and is sheepskin-lined.
