Renowned tenor and pianist to perform at King’s Ely

Scottish tenor Nicky Spence and Welsh pianist Andrew Matthews-Owen will perform at King’s Ely this November.
Spence, whose debut album My First Love, was recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and Matthews-Owen, will be performing at King’s Ely’s Recital Hall on Wednesday November 29.
The musical extravaganza is being held as part of the King’s Ely Recital Series’ 25th season programme.
Nicky Spence regularly performs at the world’s major opera houses and this season debuts at the Royal Opera House in Janácek’s final work, From the House of the Dead.
His discography includes the forthcoming final disc of Roger Vignoles’ Strauss Song Series (Hyperion) and the recital will include music by Britten, Weill and Jonathan Dove.
The concert starts at 7.30pm.
