On October 9, the parish council was awarded Quality Parish Council Status under the government initiative of The Quality Parish & Town Council Scheme. A presentation of the certificate will be made at the December meeting. A letter of congratulations had been received from Sutton Parish Council. The councillors also wished to congratulate the clerk on her hard work in putting together the application.
