THE Pymoor Methodist Church Collectible Festival took place over the weekend and organisers say the event - the first of its kind to be held at the chapel - was a great success.
John Heaps, from Soham, is the longest-standing member of the chapel and was thrilled with the event.
He said: "Visitors came from as far away as Nottinghamshire, London and Hertfordshire. There was 21 exhibits, which featured dinky toys, tea towels, teapots, cheese dishes and thimbles, as well as a scrapbook containing village paraphernalia from years gone by."
Other collectibles on display included candles, powder compacts, Camberwick Green models and old football programmes.
The chapel raised �450 over the two-day event.
