A CHEQUE for £342 was presented to Sue Ryder Care, The Old Palace to mark the official end to Jenny Axford's presidential year with The Inner Wheel Club of Ely. At the change-over meeting held in the Old Dispensary, Ely, Chris Piggott, fund-raiser for Sue Ryder Care, said: "This kind gift will help us to continue to provide excellent care and put back what Multiple Sclerosis, brain injury, cancer and Huntington's disease take way - freedom, self-esteem, comfort and reassurance.
