Ely College’s annual careers fair gave more than 500 youngsters an insight into the world of work.
Representatives from a whole range of employers – including the army, fire service and police – were on hand to offer advice and guidance to the hundreds of pupils who passed through.
Back for its sixth year, the careers fair brought primary school pupils from Ely, Littleport and Little Downham into the school in the morning before Year 9 pupils from the college had their turn in the afternoon.
Trying on fire and rescue service gear was as popular as ever but blood pressure checks by staff from St George’s Medical Centre, Littleport, also drew the crowds.
As well as returning for a seventh year in 2015, the college also hopes to hold a bigger careers fair for older pupils later this year.
