PUPILS at Little Thetford Primary School turned up for class in character this week as a part of Children's Book Week, a celebration of reading for young people organised by The Book Trust.
The theme for this year's event was 'words and pictures' with pupils asked to come to school dressed as some of their favourite literary characters for the day.
Head teacher Rob Lytton, said: "It was nice to see all the pupils taking a real interest in by reading and we certainly had an interesting array of characters turn up for the day."
