HADDENHAM youngsters learning about christenings as part of their school curriculum were invited to see eight-week-old Jack Edward Davey christened in the village on Tuesday.
Jack's mum Charlotte, invited pupils from Years 1 and 2 from the Robert Arkenstall School to the Holy Trinity Church.
Her older sons, Daniel, five, and Ethan, four, also joined the
celebration and headteacher Dominic Sharp took the role of godfather because Jack's godparent was unable to attend.
After attending the christening - which Jack slept through unaware of all the attention - pupils marked the occasion with refreshments.
