CHILDREN at Wilburton Primary School celebrated Character Day on Friday by coming to school dressed as their favourite fictional characters.

On Thursday, World Book Day, the children enjoyed a visit from writer Laura Watson who helped the children create dramatic "freeze frames" on the theme of Fantasy World. Children have been learning about fairies, goblins, monsters and giants as part of their day-to-day curriculum.

Pictured are Shauna, Max (back row) and Tom and Theo on Character Day.
