FILMING for a major British movie took place at the Carpenters Arms in Soham, with regulars and bar staff stepping in for cameo roles.
Cast and crew were at the pub, run by Carol Botting and her daughter Toni, for an entire evening.
Staff member Melanie Cook was labelled a natural by the film crew as she pulled pints for locals and stars alike.
Even 91-year-old regular Albie Fuller took a theatrical turn. Miss Botting said: "Albie got into the film by accident, really. He was sitting at his usual spot at the bar having a pint when one of the main actors came up to get served and tripped over his foot.
"The production team thought it was so funny they left it in."
There were some familiar faces in the cast, too, with actors whose credits include Alan Partridge and Silent Witness.
