WICKEN and Wilburton villagers have set up a town-twinning scheme across the A10 to raise money for their churches. They are organising a Proms Night on Saturday to provide cash for disabled access to St Laurence's Church, Wicken, and toilets for St Peter's Church, Wilburton.
The Cambridge Concert Orchestra will perform. The concert will start at 5.30pm at The Camping Ground, Stretham Road, Wicken. Tickets cost £6 or £4 for concessions and children under 16 can enter for free. Tickets are available from Tyler's Farm Shop, Wicken, or on the night at the gate.
