A MAJOR supplier of heroin and crack cocaine was sentenced to almost five years in prison when he appeared at Cambridge Crown Court.
Phillip Timmins, 37, of Wisbech Road, Littleport, was found guilty of supplying a Class A drug, five charges of possession, and one charge of possessing a Class C drug at Cambridge Crown Court on October 26.
He was sentenced to four years and six months in prison. Detective Inspector Alan Page, who led the investigation, said: "We are extremely pleased with this sentencing as Timmins was the main supplier of crack cocaine and heroin in Ely and Littleport."
"This is part of ongoing work to crackdown on the supply of drugs in the county and should serve as a stern warning to others.
