Mepal and Witcham Primary School was awash with pink last Thursday as pupils and staff at the village primary school turned up for class in their best and brightest outfits.
Acting head teacher Clare Edmond led the way as the school was transformed with an abundance of pink fairies, ballerina tutus and garish ties among the school’s 60 pupils.
A coffee and cake stall ran in the morning and again in the afternoon to give parents a chance to get involved too.
The school hopes to have raised more than £50 for Breast Cancer Research through donations taken on the day.
Mrs Edmond said: “All the pupils and staff were involved and we had a lovely pink day all round.”
