MP Lucy Fraser opens the David Hockney exhibition at Babylon Gallery in Ely


Influential artist David Hockney is holding a selling exhibition of 40 original prints at Babylon Gallery in Ely.

Hockney, one of the most popular and influential artists of our time, is now into his 80th year, and continues to change his style and ways of working, embracing new technologies as he goes.

From his portraits and images of Los Angeles swimming pools, through to his drawings and photography, Yorkshire landscapes and most recent paintings – some of which have never been seen before in public – this selling exhibition is a must and a rare treat for art fans.

His work is at the Babylon Gallery, Waterside, Ely until Sunday July 23. Open Tuesday to Sundays noon to 4pm. Free entry.

The display features limited edition prints and lithographs.
