PAINTBOX Pre-school in Sutton has been awarded a grant of £7,000 to buy much needed equipment for pupils with special educational needs.
The new equipment, which includes two-seater bikes and computer stands and chairs, will promote the inclusion of all the children in activities designed to suit their needs.
Sarah Wayman, Pre-school manager, said: "This new equipment has made a huge difference to the children's learning. They are really enjoying using it and we're happy to have been able to buy it."
An application for the grant was made by the pre-school committee to the Local Network Fund who awarded the money.
The school has also recently received a good Ofsted report, which has just been published.
