Dozens of preened pooches strutted their stuff at a fun dog show held in Littleport at the weekend.

The event was run by the owners of Hale Fen pet shop Camelot Creature Comforts, and saw owners and their pets compete in a variety of categories, including tiny tots, junior handler, super scruff and waggiest tail.

The event raised £560 for the Alzheimer’s Society and has resulted in a new monthly raffle, which will raise further funds for the charity.

John Bushe, who runs Camelot Creature Comfort with wife Alison, said: “Our suppliers, which include Van Der L, from Milton, Constable, in Norfolk, Foldhill, and Judges Choice, from Watton, have been so generous that we’ve now decided to run a monthly raffle at £1 a ticket with the draw on each last Saturday of the month.”
