An urgent warning has been issued by police following a spate of purse thefts in Ely.
No details of the numbers and timings of the thefts have been given but police are asking women to take extra care when out and about.
“Please keep your belongings safe,” said a police spokesman.
“Any suspicious people seen then call 101.”
