Officers pulled this sporty number over near the Church Farm Rare Breeds Centre over concerns at the manner in which it was being driven.

They ended up impounding it last night, after finding the person behind the wheel had a provisional licence and no insurance. The driver has now been reported for both offences.

He’ll also face a £150 recovery charge and £20 a day for storage.

Earlier, police from Lynn were patrolling low-lying farmland a few miles down the A10 around the Southery area.

There had been reports of early evening hare coursers operating in the area.

Officers have also detained a man in Lynn on a European arrest warrant, who is expected to appear at the town’s magistrates court today.

Details of the offence, which was allegedly committed in another country, have not been released.
