Police vehicles piled into the Travelodge car park in Ely this afternoon (Tuesday April 10) in attempt to locate a missing 16-year-old girl from Kent.
It was part of a Kent Police-led operation that saw seven marked Cambridgeshire cars, unmarked vehicles and two police vans arrive at the scene at around 1:35pm.
Three people and evidence has reportedly been removed from the building.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police confirmed that the raid was part of a Kent police investigation into a missing teenager, but gave no further details.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers were in Ely to locate a missing 16-year-old girl from Kent.
“She has been found safe and well and enquiries are ongoing.”
