A POLICE officer was subject to abuse after pouring away a bottle of cider belonging to a 15-year-old, a youth court heard.
The incident happened at Jubilee Green in Burwell, where there have been problems with anti-social behaviour and young people drinking alcohol, prosecutor Delia Matthews told Ely Youth Court.
The area is regularly patrolled by police, and on August 29 the teenager arrived with a bottle of cider in a rucksack.
When the alcohol was poured away, the youngster became angry, and shouted foul language.
The 15-year-old admitted using disorderly behaviour, and was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
*The teenager is due to appear before Cambridge Youth Court next month, when an application to give him an anti social behaviour order will be contested.
